It's Saturday now!!
So you girls should know that there was a Chinese Orchestra Alumni gathering at Swiss Cottage Secondary School on 16th December.
Not many turned up for the gathering.
There were hardly any familiar faces in the CO room that we used to have our practices.
It's even awkward for us when the teachers are all so busy with their 'newer' alumnis.
But with the company of our old fellow CO mates, everything is still fun and less awkward.
We went for supper at Bukit Timah after the visit.
I think this is like the first time I actually had supper with Sinting, Yongmei, Jiamin and Junda.
We hung out till around 1am. - makes me feel like an adult since we don't usually do that when we were students.
Shared about all the old times and interesting incidents that happened in school.
It makes me feel like travelling back in time.
If I were to see the 13 year old me, I would tell her:
Please enjoy yourself as much as possible in these 4 years in Swiss Cottage. Study hard, play hard, do whatever you feel like doing and don't hold back so much. You might have fights with your friends, given a broken heart during your O levels, etc. But no matter what, follow your heart. Don't be overly serious about everything because you're afraid. These 4 years are like the best time for you to make all the mistakes so that you'll learn and keep in mind what to look out for after you graduate. Cherish every fucking friend and stay in touch with them for as much as possible. Enjoy yourself because after graduation, you'll be facing so much drama and sadness and stressed that you'll wanna come back to being a secondary school student again.
I think the 13 year old me wouldn't really listen to the entire speech I have for her. LOL.
I'm really glad that I still have you girls with me after graduation from secondary school.
The one thing that I definitely wouldn't regret would be being able to have you girls and a few awesome people as friends ever since we found each other in Swiss Cottage. ♥
